There will be a sixth quiz (which is optional) given on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, 9:45 am - 12 noon. This quiz will be cumulative (i.e., it will cover material from Quizzes 1-5), and a study guide will be posted by Tuesday, December 7.
If your performance on Quiz 6 is worse than your worst letter-grade on Quizzes 1-5, Quiz 6 will not count toward your final grade.
If your performance on Quiz 6 is better than your worst letter-grade on Quizzes 1-5, Quiz 6 will be weighted as two quizzes in computing your final quiz grade (i.e., Quiz 6 will count for 1/3 of your quiz average).
In addition to the study guide which will be posted, it will be useful to work through homework problems and problems from the old quizzes.
