Synopsis: Small child rounds up her posse for bed.
Readability: Fun for
parents -- the dolls and stuffed animals have amusing names like Oscar and
Jojo.
Reasonably entertaining for Chloe, since each of the critters
is identified as silly for its own reason. Text is sufficiently repetitive
to be amusing. Not too hard to read when Chloe is active and is flipping
the pages herself -- there's no special order in which the critters need
to be rounded up.
Visual Appeal (i.e., how entrancing
Chloe finds it while turning the pages herself with nothing read to her):
Nice watercolors with animals and objects that are easy for
Chloe to decode. At this point, she still prefers simpler pictures,
but she thinks these are good, too.
Tooth-appeal: Nibbled, but not gnawed.
